QTS Selects Henrico County for Data Center Campus

The former semiconductor facility located at the White Oak Technology Park in Henrico is now owned by Quality Technology Services, a managed data center services company based in Kansas.  The facility is being repurposed as a robust, state-of-the-art data center with scalable space and bandwidth to support the business needs of any size company, federal agency or state agency needing redundancy, cloud computing and security in a green energy environment.  This former Qimonda North America semiconductor plant has the security, seclusion, raised flooring, fiber optics, electric power (110+ MW) and cooling capacity (22,000 tons) for the long term success of data centers of the future.
