Markel Corp. Acquires Thompson Insurance

Markel recently announced its aquisition of Thompson Insurance Enterprises LLC, a privately held program administrator of over 20 national insurance programs. Thompson Insurance is based out of Kennesaw, GA, and will operate as a special business unit as part of Markel. Markel is a Fortune 1000 specialty insurance company with corporate headquarters in Henrico's Innsbrook Office Park.
