The Henrico County Existing Business Assistance Program is a valuable resource dedicated to helping Henrico County's existing businesses.

Henrico County is committed to meeting the needs of existing business. The Economic Development Authority offers a variety of services that provides you with valuable information and assistance.

The objective of the program is to present existing Henrico businesses with the best services available. In some cases this means working directly with the Economic Development Authority staff. In other situations the Economic Development Authority will serve as a coordinator and facilitator when the needed existing business services are available through other well established assistance centers in greater Richmond.

Program Goal

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive set of introductory business resources and services to existing businesses in Henrico County. These include:

• Business facilities lease/purchase
• Business finance/banking
• Marketing
• Recruiting and hiring employees
• Equipment leasing
• Business accounting
• Advertising/public relations plans and programs
• International sales and marketing
• Business insurance
• Ombudsman assistance with state and local government matters
• Business Counseling
• Shipping/transporting

Primary assistance is available through the Henrico Economic Development Authority staff. Additional available resources may include:

• Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA)

Request for Assistance

• Any established Henrico County business can request the services of the Henrico Existing Business Assistance Program.
• The process begins with a meeting with one of our staff. The meeting can be arranged by contacting the Authority.
